Active and Passive Voice คืออะไร ?

  Active Voice  แปลว่า  กัตตุวาจก หมายถึง คำกล่าวหรือประโยคที่ประธานเป็นผู้กระทำเอง

ตัวอย่างเช่น

He punished a boy.  เขาทำโทษเด็กคนหนึ่ง

Mary  eats a mango. แมรี่รับประทานมะม่วง

I shall write a letter.  ฉันจะเขียนจดหมาย

                                    

Passive Voice   แปลว่า  กรรมวาจก หมายถึง  ประโยคหรือข้อความที่ประธานเป็นผู้ถูกกระทำกริยานั้นโดยผู้อื่นหรือสิ่งของ

ตัวอย่างเช่น 

A boy  was punished by him.

 เด็กถูกทำโทษโดยเขา

A mango is eaten by  mary. 
มะม่วงถูกรับประทานโดยแมรี่

A letter  will  be  written by me.
จดหมายหนึ่งฉบับจะถูกเขียนโดยฉัน

                                    

         

            หลักการเปลี่ยน Active Voice เป็น Passive Voice

1. เอาตัวกรรมของประโยค  Active  ไปเป็นประทานในประโยค Passive
2. ใช้  Verb to be ให้ถูกต้องตามพจน์และ Tense เดิมที่เปลี่ยนไปจาก Active
3. กริยาแท้ในประโยค Active  เมื่อเอามาใช้ในประโยค  Passive  ต้องเปลี่ยนเป็นช่อง 3 เสมอ ( วางไว้หลัง Verb to be )
4. เอาประธานในประโยค  Active  ไปเป็นกรรมในประโยค  Passive โดยมีบุพบท by นำหน้า

              Verb to be อยู่หน้า กริยาช่องสามเราเรียกขานว่า Passive

หมายเหตุ: เพื่อให้ง่ายต่อความเข้าใจ  จะขอแสดงรูปประโยคของ Passive Voice ไว้ให้ดูทั้ง 12 Tense ดังนี้

Present Simple :  S + is,am,are + Verb3 + by.........................

Present Continous : S + is,am,are + being + Verb3 + by............

Present Perfect : S + has,have + been + Verb3 + by...................
present Perfect Continous : S + has,have + been + being + Verb3 + by............

Past Simple : S + was,were + Verb3 + by.............

Past Continous : S + was,were + being + Verb3 + by...........

Past Perfect : S + had + been + Verb3 + by............

Past Perfect Continous : S + had + been + being + verb3 + by..........

Future Simple : S + will,shall + be + verb3 + by...............

Future Continous : S + will,shall + be + being + Verb3 + by............

Future Perfect : S+ will,shall + have + been + Verb 3 + by..............

Future Perfect Continous : S + will,shall + have + been + being + Verb3 + by..........
